Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas!!

Got all sorts of goodies this year :)

Up "bright" and early on Christmas morning!

Toby enjoying one of his gifts, a new chipmunk toy :)

Then we all dove in.....

Presents, presents and more presents :)

Grampa loved his lil' sign "Great Dads get promoted to Grampa" :)

Kathy gave Jason some big boy power tools!

Spoiled boy, new Patriots collar and jersey :) and my Lordy is that dog furry! :)

After the mass chaos settled down..it was time for a nap (with his new blanket)...before we headed out for Chistmas dinner at Gramma and Grampa's.

All in all, had an absolutely fantastic day. Full of laughs and some great stuff. I love my family! We are blessed.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas too!

Annual Christmas Cookie Makin'

This year was no exception! We helped Beepa make her famous, Christmas cookies! :)

 Oodles, and oodles...

..and oodles of them!

We have our system set in place by now. Kathy and I measure out, mix, kneed, roll out, and cut out the cookies. From there, Beepa mans the oven. She knows when they are perfectly done. Then Cortney is assigned to the frosting/sprinkle station.

This was Kathy, helping make more frosting, for our froster...

 ...who broke a cookie! *gasp*

She fixed it...withhhh, another cookie, hahaha

Our #1 rule...one must eat any cookie that is broken, through this long process. This rule is strictly reinforced. :)
(frosting/sprinkle station)

Sugar Rush!

Toby is an excellent kitchen helper...we didn't need to clean the floor after ;)

Almost ready for Christmas!!!

Christmas Tree Shoppin'

Out doing a lil' Christmas tree shoppin'

Kathy thought ahead this year, and brought a tape measure to make sure her tree would fit in her new house! :)

We did finally leave with 4 trees, and numerous other Christmas decor.

Christmas ♥

We started out our Christmas at Beepa's house, this was just some of the presents awaiting us all.
It didn't take us long to dig right in, after Dad started playing Santa...

Ohh, the chaos ☺

"I wake up like this!" haha...ok, not really ☺

Everyone seemed to love their handmade gifts this year ♥

Mom demonstrating how the elderly might use her new "garden kneel-er thing-a-ma-jig" as a walker.

She was later shocked.....yup, Dad got her an iPad ☺ (She was literally the only one in the room that didn't already know about it, we are good at keepin' secrets.)

Snowmen ☺

She liked it ☺

And thennn...there was the Moose! The brainstorm of some of our family up north, and Grampa made it a reality. They loved it! ☺ Big hit Auntie Liz and Uncle Scott, and Grampa! ♥

I was asked to take a video of my parents finding their moose, so here it is:

Gifts were followed by way too much food, games, talk, and Lots of laughing ☺
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did. A HUGE thank you to Mom, Dad, Beepa, Gramma, Grampa, Kathy, Jason, Cortney, and Jerry!
I ♥ my family!

Christmas 2010

We started off our Christmas with a toast (with what else, but mimosas) to the newly engaged couple! Then it was down to business, presents!
Kaki ♥'s her snowman!
...and Cortney liked her snowflake covered gourd...
Dad, our designated 'present-passer-outer' ☺
Beepa and her Santa!
...and Mom opened up hers too!

This would be the painting I got from Cortney (painted by hers-truly)
...white birches, lil' bit of NH gets to hang on my wall. ☺

I had a wonderful Christmas. I say it time and time again, but I am so thankful for my family. We have good times and we have our bad, but I honestly don't know where I would be without each and every one of them.
So thank you, not only for the presents, but for being there for me and being just who you are.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ♥
